Welcome to Lume Search Partners (“Lume,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at lumesp.com, our forms and applications, our telephone and text-message (SMS) communications, and any related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, or by providing your information to us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Overview of Services
Lume provides leadership advisory, executive search, and talent-placement services to organizations (“Clients”). Individuals exploring opportunities (“Candidates”) may interact with the Platform to submit information or request contact. The Platform provides information about our services and ways to connect with the Lume team. Lume does not guarantee any job placement, interview, employment outcome, or engagement.
2. Eligibility
By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you submit information on behalf of an employer or organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful or harmful purpose
- Circumvent, disable, or disrupt the security or functionality of the Platform
- Copy, scrape, or misuse Platform content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Submit misleading, false, or unauthorized information
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms.
4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
These SMS Terms are part of, and incorporated into, these Terms & Conditions. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you agree to the following.
A. Program Description
Lume Search Partners operates a recruiting text-messaging program. When you opt in, we may send you text messages (SMS) related to our recruiting and advisory services, such as job-opportunity alerts, interview scheduling, application follow-ups, requests for information, and account or service updates. These messages are sent to Candidates and Client contacts who have provided their mobile number and consented to be contacted by text.
B. How You Opt In
You opt in to receive text messages by providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively agreeing to be contacted by SMS—for example, by submitting a website form, job application, or written request that includes your consent to receive text messages from Lume. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, application, or service. We do not share or sell your mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes; see our Privacy Policy.
C. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your interaction with us and the status of any opportunity you are involved in.
D. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Lume is not responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier.
E. Opt Out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a one-time message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will no longer receive text messages from us. To rejoin, you may opt in again at any time.
F. Help (HELP)
If you are experiencing any issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@lumesp.com or https://lumesp.com.
G. Carrier Liability
Carriers (including, but not limited to, T-Mobile) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed.

5. Candidate Information
Candidates may submit resumes, career history, or other professional information (“Candidate Information”). By submitting Candidate Information, you grant Lume permission to review and evaluate it, consent to being contacted regarding potential opportunities, and allow Lume to share relevant portions of your information with potential employers only with your prior consent. We do not distribute Candidate Information without permission.
6. Client Engagements
Companies engaging Lume for executive search or advisory work (“Client Services”) must enter into a separate written agreement governing fees, scope of work, deliverables, confidentiality, and legal compliance. If these Terms conflict with a Client Agreement, the Client Agreement prevails.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform—design, graphics, text, branding, images, and underlying technology—is owned by Lume or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third parties, and accessing these links is at your own risk.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of content, continuous or error-free access, or that any Client will hire a Candidate or that any Candidate will receive employment. Your use of the Platform is solely at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lume and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of profits, business, or data; errors, interruptions, or unauthorized access; or outcomes of hiring or placement processes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) to access the Platform.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Lume harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Updates to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion, with or without notice. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York.
